The Late Estate Broomberg & Chanarin

After twenty-three years of collaboration the artists Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin legally, economically, creatively ended their partnership. Tackling politics, religion, war and history, Broomberg & Chanarin interrogated the photographic medium through playful and sometimes provocative experimentation. Their last will and testament was read aloud on 20 February 2021 at Fabra i Coats, in Barcelona, alongside a display of their estate. A full obituary by Sean O’Tool was published in the British Journal of Photography to commemorate the timely death of their collaboration.
